Protecting Stella

As some of you know, I divorced a couple of years ago. I dealt with emotional abuse for years with my ex, but once he harmed Stella physically there was no going back. We have had CPS involvement now twice and the most recent was after m ex harmed Stella in early March 2018. The court has kept him from having contact with her since then. He took a plea deal recently and is still awaiting sentencing. I had to retain an attorney today to fight for Stella's rights and ongoing safety in family court. The Criminal court will give their recommendation of no contact with Stella. Stella's therapist will stand behind us as Stella has PTSD from what he did. She will deteriorate if she has to see him. She has nightmares at night and is scared for me to go to work many days as he believes he will kill us. Thank goodness for our family and friends who have supported us emotionally to this point. It's the only way we have kept moving and surviving this nightmare.
But I cannot financially do this without help. I work full time and have Stella full time. My ex owes me 1,000's and 1,000's in child support. I make every dollar I have stretch the best I can. I have to fight to keep my baby safe. I appreciate anything and everything   I love for my kid, and I will never stop fighting for her rights.
