<div>Children are growing up in a world where learning, friendships, entertainment, creativity and opportunity increasingly happen online.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, so do exploitation, manipulation, grooming, trafficking and other risks that many young people, and the adults who care for them, are not always prepared to recognize.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>A child should not become more vulnerable simply because they go online.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Protect Us Kids Foundation works to change that.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We help children and young people, particularly those living in rural and under-resourced communities, build the knowledge, confidence, resources and support they need to navigate the digital world more safely.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Protecting children online takes more than telling them to be careful.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It takes education. Prevention. Trusted adults. Strong communities. Research. Technology. Partnerships. And an understanding of how quickly online threats continue to evolve.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div><strong>Why Your Support Matters</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The digital world is changing faster than many of the systems designed to protect children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Young people move across social media, gaming platforms, messaging apps, online learning environments and emerging technologies every day. The risks they encounter do not always look like the threats adults were taught to recognize.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Exploitation can begin with a conversation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A friendship request.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A game.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A photograph.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A promise.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A person pretending to be someone they are not.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That is why prevention has to begin before a crisis.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Young people need to know how to recognize risk, where to turn for help and who they can trust. Parents, caregivers, educators and communities also need the tools and information to support them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The responsibility for protecting children online cannot rest on children alone.
</div>
<div><br />

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Families, schools, technology providers, community organizations, researchers, government and industry all have a role to play.
</div>
<div><br />

<div><strong>Building What Comes Next: The We-Rise Portal</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Protecting young people online also means preparing for what comes next.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The We-Rise Portal is part of our long-term vision for a secure virtual environment where young people can access digital safety resources, education, trusted support and connections to mental and behavioral health resources when needed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our goal is to create a space that supports prevention, early identification of risk, responsible use of technology and human-led support while respecting the privacy and trust young people deserve.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support helps us continue moving this vision forward while sustaining the programs and community work already happening today.

</div>
<div><strong>Reaching Kids Where They Are</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Not every child has access to the same level of technology education, digital safety resources or community support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Some young people are navigating the same online risks with far fewer resources around them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Protect Us Kids works to help close that gap.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our work reaches young people through schools, community organizations, youth groups, virtual programs and local partnerships. We combine youth education, research, technology, public health, cybersecurity and community engagement to build stronger systems of prevention around children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sometimes that means teaching young people how to recognize unsafe online behavior.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sometimes it means helping parents and educators understand new digital risks.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sometimes it means supporting youth as they lead their own peer-to-peer safety efforts.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And sometimes it means bringing resources directly into communities where specialized support may otherwise be difficult to access.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The goal is the same: help young people stay safer wherever they learn, communicate, create and connect.
</div>
