Yet, a powerful vision for reclaiming and protecting this land emerges.

<div>We aim to secure 40 acres of land offered to Elder Marakame Modesto Rivera and his community of Yurata from the Wixarika Naition. This land, valued at $60,000 USD, represents an essential step in restoring access for the Wixárika people to perform their annual pilgrimages, build altars, and continue their sacred ceremonies without interference. The goal is to raise $15,000 and help impulse this project with a quarter of the total quoted value.
