Méderic ediciones SL, editorial médica española y Jake Lewis quiere impulsar una iniciativa para recaudar fondos para la compra de equipos de protección individual para profesionales sanitarios en Barcelona, específicamente el Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol (Can Ruti).
La pandemia COVID-19 está dejando una alta tasa de profesionales de la salud infectados. España es, con un 12% del total de infectados, el país con una proporción más alta de profesionales sanitarios del mundo, lo que está muy relacionado con la escasez de material de equipos de protección individual.
A través de esta campaña, queremos comprar mascarillas FFP2 directamente a un fabricante chino con productos con certificado CE, que envía aviones 3 veces por semana a España a través de DHL. Así nos aseguraremos que al hospital le llegue el material sin dilación y listo para entregar a los profesionales.
Queremos entregar este material al Hospital público Germans Trias i Pujol (Can Ruti) .
El coste de mascarillas FFP2 es de 1.99 dólares + tansporte + IVA + aduanas.
Para que el trasporte tenga un precio competitivo querríamos comprar 5.000 mascarillas. 10.000 dólares + el resto de costes.
Cuantas más mascarillas compremos más profesionales salvaremos del contagio y más pacientes se beneficiarán de tener más profesionales que les cuidan.
Cuanto antes tengamos los fondos antes haremos el pedido. Si conseguimos más fondos, los utilizaremos todos para la compra de estas mascarillas por lo que haremos nuevos pedidos.

The total percentage of health professionals infected with COVID-19 currently is at 12% and the rates continue to escalate, which is directly related to shortage of personal protective equipments (such as masks, glows, gowns).
Through this campaign we want to buy FFP2 masks, directly from a Chinese manufacturer with CE certified products. The delivery of the items will be with planes sent three times a week to Spain, which will ensure that the material reaches the hospital without delay and ready to deliver to health professionals.
We want to deliver this material to the Germans Trias i Pujol (Can Ruti) public hospital in Badalona.
The cost of FFP2 masks is $ 1.99 + transportation + VAT + customs.
In order for the transport to be competitively priced, we would like to buy 5,000 masks = $ 10,000 + all other costs.
The more masks we buy and deliver, the more professionals we will save from contagion. This will directly benefit the patients in need as there will be more health professional to take care of them. The sooner we have the funds, the sooner we will make the order. If we get more funds, we will use them all to buy these masks, so we will make new orders.
