Protect AAIP: Ensure Safe Transportation

As many of you know, Asian Americans worldwide are being racially harassed and physically attacked. Small Asian-owned businesses are being trashed and robbed such as the one in Charlotte, NC and mass shootings such as the Atlanta Spa Shooting. I see my family in the faces of these victims and I can't help but ask, "what if that was my mom/dad, my grandma/grandpa, my aunt/uncle, or my brother/sister".  

So here's the deal: In lieu of gifts, dinners, and drinks for my 21st birthday, I am asking my friends and family as well as anyone who stands in solidarity with minorities and immigrants to donate to help protect AAPI. 

All donations will be made to CafeMaddyCab , a service that provides transportation for Asian women, Asian LGBTQ, and Asian elderly in NYC. This service makes a real time difference, allowing people who feel scared to walk home or ride public transportation a means of safe transportation. Café Maddy Cab covers fares for those in need. Any donation whether it’s $5 or $20 can SAVE an Asian man or woman from being physically, racially, and sexually harassed and attacked.
