Protect A Girls Image

Protect A Girls Image (PGIO) is a humanitarian organization whose goal is to advocate and provide for rape survivors in Nairobi, Kenya and surrounding areas.  Most of these survivors are women and girls.  Poverty and rape are rampant in these areas.  Many of these survivors are raped by members of their household.  This means that besides facilitating legal action, the affected members must be removed from their households to a safe place.  


Margaret and William have made it their life mission to help people placed in these vulnerable situations.  Their family home has been demolished and is in the process of being replaced with apartments that will provide the income for the current survivors home.  The last top floor needs to be completed along with finishing touches inside.  They have provided financially for the whole process (by giving their property and working hard) but, now need our help.  Currently there is a team of committed members working hard while Margaret and William are in the U.S. working to pay for the survivors home and expenses.  After the apartments are built and fully funding the survivor home there are plans to build a school.  With so many children in the home it is now necessary to build a school where their education can start and/or continue.
