<div>We are the <strong>University of Florida Cycling Team</strong> and we are beginning our 2025 road season with the goal to finish at the top of the Southeastern Collegiate Cycling Conference Standings. Our team is now forty years old with a rich and successful history, including <strong>63 conference titles</strong> and <strong>13 national championships</strong>.

<div>This year, we have <strong>19</strong> riders that have already donned the Orange and Blue for a race, with even more looking to join for Swamp. Unfortunately, at UF, funding is based on the previous season's participation, and with rapid growth from <strong>4</strong> to <strong>over 25</strong> racers, we need to raise significantly more funding than in the past to achieve this goal. We are hoping to cover registrations and travel for all our student-athletes this season.

<div>For 2025, we received <strong>$2,000</strong> from the UF Student Government, and we have raised an additional <strong>$2,500 </strong>between sponsorships, uniform sales, and other fundraising efforts. However, in total, our costs for this season will be <strong>$18,575</strong>. Here is the breakdown of the budget:

<li><strong>Registrations - $12,900</strong> (it is approximately $100 per rider per weekend to race a road race, time trial, and criterium)
</li>
<li><strong>Lodging - $2,500</strong> (we have 6 travel races including nationals in Wisconsin)
</li>
<li><strong>Gas - $1,000</strong>
</li>
<li><strong>MTB Training Trip - $1,000</strong>
</li>
<li><strong>Race Supplies - $400</strong> (water to fill bottles, ice for ice socks, drink mix, maintenance on race equipment)
</li>
<li><strong>Storage Unit - $350</strong> (we stopped renting our storage unit to save money in October)
</li>
<li><strong>Miscellaneous - $300</strong> (shipping for sponsorship packets, team social events, etc.)
</li>
<li><strong>Annual USA Cycling Dues - $125</strong>
