A Special Prom for Samantha

Donation protected
Meet Samantha!

Samantha is a very special 17 year old girl living in Brooklyn, NY. After receiving two heart transplants when she was 4 months old, Samantha suffered multiple strokes resulting in significant developmental delays and difficulty moving the right side of her body. Although she is not able to speak, Samantha uses an iPad to communicate with her family and friends. She is a funny, lovable teenager who enjoys listening to music, reading books with her therapists and teachers and eating mac and cheese. Samantha’s seizure disorder and multiple disabilities made it difficult for her to go to school, but she has been learning and growing with the help of her therapists, special education teacher, and amazing mom, Kathy.

This year would be Samantha’s last year of high school, and her therapists at Sensory Freeway want to throw her a prom to celebrate her and show her that she is loved.

Please consider making a donation to help us buy food, drinks and decorations for the event. With your help, we can make this prom as special as Samantha!

*Donations will be used to buy trays of food from a local restaurant, a graduation cake, streamers, balloons and lights for decoration and photo booth supplies.
