Project Arbor Vitae

Natalie and LeeAnn are sisters from Franklin, TN.  Natalie is a 24 year old professional photographer and videographer for Motocross and other extreme sports.  LeeAnn is a 28 year old stay at home momma of two sweet boys, Ryman (4) and Elliston (2). 

Natalie's career, hopes, and dreams came to a screeching halt last fall when all of her video gear was stolen.  She quickly moved home and got a job at a climb gym to earn back all she had lost.

In the midst of her personal chaos, Thanksgiving night, Natalie's sister, LeeAnn became extremely ill.  She woke up vomiting, with numbness on her left side, visible facial paralysis, and was even unable to sit up on her own.  She had experienced a massive stroke.  

Over the next four months, the family experienced trial after trial, including receiving news that their insurance company would cover little to nothing, of the Emergency Room visit, weeks and weeks spent in the ICU, or the several month stay in the "in-house" rehabilitation center.  On top of this, LeeAnn had to wait for swelling in her brain to go down enough for an incredibly risky brain surgery.  The time came for this surgery, and again the family learned how little would be covered by their insurance company.

LeeAnn did well in the surgery.  She is now home with her boys!  However, there is still a very long road of recovery.
