VENTILATOR SPLITTERS - Project Tetra
Donation protected
PROJECT TETRA – www.tetrabio.org - MAKING VENTILATOR SPLITTERS NOW!
3DCrowd (The community-based 3D Printing Group) are supporting a group of skilled engineers to help design, build and create a device that allows a single VENTILATOR, to be split to support FOUR patients, instead of just One.
3DCrowd have formerly helped the NHS and Keyworkers with the 3D Printing of hundreds of thousands of PPE Visors that gained full CE accreditation. The quality of these VENTILATOR SPLITTERS will be no less stringent in terms of quality controls.
We have already completed various stages, including the prototype development process. There are now five keys stages to achieve our goals.
Stage One – Purchase all off-the-shelf electronics components and 3D print all components.
Stage Two – Fabricate the device enclosure
Stage Three – Assemble the device and create the required documentation for open-source release.
Stage Four – Conduct internal functional and performance testing, iterate on designs if needed.
Stage Five – Once the Tetra Splitter passes our internal testing, hand over for testing by medical professionals.
THE NEED IS BOTH URGENT AND CRITICAL. There are too many locations around the World where one Ventilator serves a community of one hundred thousand or even a million. We can change that with your immediate support. Thank you.
*Donations can be made via credit card in any currency and will be converted to Sterling.
**Project Tetra is being supported by 3DCrowd CIC, (Community Interest Company), which also operates on the basis of 100% of donations going into any project. 3DCrowd works as a volunteer organization, which sponsors and supports projects in the 3D Printing Community. www.3dcrowd.org.uk
