Dear friends, family and future friends and family,
Our names are Marc Sands & Jacob Smith. On December 26th we will embark on a journey from the US to India and Australia volunteering our time for the sport we love, ultimate frisbee.

Despite all the details, our story is actually very simple. It’s about two friends who saw something they wanted and worked relentlessly to make it happen. We left our fear and doubts behind and owned the opportunity. From the get go, we were 100% committed to this project.
Part of this commitment was accepting the financial responsibilities of flights, transportation, immunizations, visas, camera equipment, etc. No matter what, we are still committed to this financial responsibility. In fact, we debated for many weeks as to whether or not to we should create a donation platform. We would rather our audience become inspired by the actions we are taking and gain the courage to conduct their own self-discovery ventures.
Therefore, we would like this page to represent more than just a donation platform. We see it as an opportunity for others to contribute to, follow along and spread our mission of paying it forward. We appreciate any and all donations, whether they be in the form of money, discs, jerseys, stories or simply supportive texts and phone calls. If you have your own compelling stories or experiences of paying it forward, please share them in the comment section below!
Our goal of $6000 will go directly towards the costs associated with our booked travel expenses and the production of our subsequent film. This page will remain open until December 25th.
