For over 10 years i've been portraying people, more specifically models. I've worked in the fashion and beauty industry since i started in photography and had the opportunity to take pictures of people with great talent.
I don't know about you, but i knew when i started that being a photographer was my call and God wanted me to be one, for i believe my gifts come from him. The problem was that i thought i was using my talent in the right way.
Don't get me wrong, i love my work, but lately i've been feeling that my heart and talent are not where they should be.
I came to realize that this gift of mine should be used for a different purpose... to honor God's best creation... Us.
But among us there are always less fortunate, with struggles, in bad conditions.
So i decided that i will begin a journey to portrait people, to honor people and remember people who we are. "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." (Genesis 1: 27).
And while i do so, i want to help those who are less fortunate, for we are all called to serve one another. With your help i will be traveling around the country (or the world), honoring people and bringing joy, food, clothing or whatever the less fortunate i meet in my travels might need.
It wont be an easy task, but with your help, we can all be that ray of light that we are called to be.
I'll be sharing with you the journey, documenting as much as i can so you too can feel and be part of this endeavor. The only way we can change the world is if we all play our part and i feel in my heart and soul that this is mine.
