<div>For decades, women with bleeding disorders have been overlooked, misdiagnosed, and underserved.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Not because they are rare - but because they have not been fully seen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Project Elevate Her is changing that.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The Mission</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Project Elevate Her is a global, multi-year initiative led by mountaineer and clinical exercise physiologist Maia Meier.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Through a series of high-altitude expeditions - including the Seven Summits - this campaign is raising awareness and critical funding to improve diagnosis, care, and equity for women living with bleeding disorders worldwide.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why This Matters</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Bleeding disorders have long been misunderstood as conditions that primarily affect men.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a result, women and girls around the world often face:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Delayed or missed diagnosis
</div>
<div>Lack of access to appropriate care
</div>
<div>Symptoms that are dismissed or normalized
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This isn’t rare.
</div>
<div>It’s systemic.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The Approach</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Each expedition is more than a climb.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It’s a platform to:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Amplify real stories
</li>
<li>Bring visibility to a global issue
</li>
<li>Connect communities across regions
</li>
<li>Drive funding toward meaningful change
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From Mont Blanc to the Himalayas and beyond, this journey is about making the invisible visible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Where Funds Go</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds raised through Project Elevate Her will support initiatives that:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Improve awareness and education
</li>
<li>Expand access to diagnosis and treatment
</li>
<li>Support women navigating bleeding disorders
</li>
<li>Strengthen global collaboration across organizations
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is about creating change that lasts beyond a single expedition.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong><em>100% of funds raised will be distributed to five global bleeding disorder organizations to advance awareness, diagnosis, and care for women worldwide: </em></strong><a href="https://wfh.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>WFH</strong></a>, <a href="https://www.hemophilia.ca/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>CHS</strong></a>, <a href="https://www.ehc.eu/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>EHC</strong></a>, <a href="https://www.haemophilia.org.au/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>HFA</strong></a>, <a href="https://www.bleeding.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong><span class="ql-cursor"></span>NBDF</strong></a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This project is deeply personal.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’ve lived with von Willebrand disease (Type 2A) all my life - training, climbing, and building a career in human performance while quietly managing something that is often misunderstood and overlooked.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over time, I’ve seen how easily women’s symptoms are dismissed, how long it can take to be taken seriously, and how many are left without clear answers or support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Project Elevate Her is about changing that - not just through awareness, but by creating visibility, resources, and momentum for women who have gone too long unseen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If this resonates with you, I invite you to support the mission.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every contribution helps bring visibility, resources, and progress to women who have gone too long without the care they deserve.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Donate to Project Elevate Her and be part of a global movement to change how women’s health is seen, understood, and supported.</strong>
