Project Children Alcoy Philippines

It is our goal to provide assistance to underprivileged kids here in the Philippines through personal commitment and voluntary work. For the last 5 years we have been funding this project with the help of your monetary contributions! Natural disasters, such as typhoons and earthquakes have shown that donations do not always reach the ones that have the greatest need. Our mission is to use donations locally - directly and without any detours.

Your monetary contributions will be used one-to-one in order to help children in a daycare center in Alcoy on Cebu Island. They will be spent on groceries (at present we can provide one hot meal and fruit  once a week), school supplies and school equipment. The last 2 years we worked with 2 Kindergartens that have a total of 48 children and for the next school year we will have one kindergarten with around 50 children.

We realize that we cannot solve all social justice issues in this country. For that reason we have chosen to work with these small, local Kindergartens in order to support them specifically.

In order for this project to survive we need your help. Please find it in your heart to make a donation and pass along our story to someone who might be willing to lend a helping hand as well. In Deutsch:

Mit unserem privaten und ehrenamtlichen Engagement möchten wir Unterstützung direkt vor Ort auf den Philippinen anbieten. In den letzten 5 Jahren haben wir das Projekt durch eure Spendengelder finanziert! Taifun- und Erdbebenkatastrophen haben gezeigt, dass die Spendengelder nicht immer dort eingesetzt werden, wo sie am nötigsten gebraucht werden. Unser Ziel ist es, die Spendengelder vor Ort einzusetzen - direkt und ohne Umwege.

Eure Spenden kommen 1:1 in Form von Lebensmitteln (zur Zeit können wir fast täglich eine warme Mahlzeit sowie Obst anbieten), Schulmaterialien und Schulausstattung den Kindern in verschiedenen Einrichtungen in Alcoy zu Gute! In den letzten beiden Jahren waren dies zwei 2 Kindergärten mit gesamt knapp 50 Kindern. Für das kommende Schuljahr wird es ein Kindergrten mit ca. 50 Kindern sein.

Uns ist bewusst, dass wir hier nicht alle Missstände beseitigen können. Aus diesem Grund haben wir uns einzelne kleine, ortsansässige Kindergärten ausgesucht, um diese gezielt zu unterstützen.

Für das Hilfsprojekt benötigen wir eure Hilfe in Form von Spendengeldern und Mundpropaganda - also bitte SPENDEN und TEILEN! Solltet ihr den Kinder eine Spende für Schulmaterialien oder Lebensmitteln zukommen lassen, schreibt uns auf Facebook eine Nachricht oder eine email.
