<div>Notre grand <strong>project</strong> de <strong>court métrage</strong> commence à se concrétiser. Dans ce but, <strong>nous avons besoin de votre aide</strong> car les frais engagés sont conséquents. C'est le seul moyen d'obtenir le niveau de qualité que nous souhaitons rendre à l’écran pour les spectateurs et les jeunes générations. Nous souhaitons <strong>mettre à l'honneur le Royal Winnipeg Rifles</strong>, de l'assaut du 6 juin 1944 à la prise de Creully, la jonction avec les troupes britanniques, le terrible affrontement de Putot-en-Bessin et les exécutions perpétrées par les SS in Audrieu. Les reconstitutions seront accompagnées de <strong>témoignages</strong> de <strong>vétérans</strong> et de civils ayant vécu ces terribles journées. Le vétéran du Royal Winnipeg Rifles de la première vague, <strong>Jim Parks</strong>, nous appuie dans notre démarche, comme de nombreuses familles de vétérans.

<div>Our <strong>big project </strong>of a short film (52 min) begins to take shape. In this purpose, <strong>we need your help</strong> since the charges incurred are consistent. It is our only way to get the quality level we are looking for on screen for the viewers and the younger generations. We wish <strong>to honor the Royal Winnipeg Rifles</strong>, from the assault on June 6th 1944 to the capture of Creully, the junction with the British troops, the dreadful struggle in Putot-en-Bessin and then the murders committed by the SS in Audrieu. The reenacted pictures will be combined with veterans and civilians accounts who lived those frightful days. <strong>Royal Winnipeg Rifles’ veteran Jim Parks</strong> has given us his full support on this project, like many veterans families. <strong>Help us</strong> to achieve this initiative, to pay Canada the tribute it deserves.
