Production: Marc Cohn Sings for Autism Concert
This is for "THE SILENT ONES" waiting to be heard...
_____________________________________________________________________________
Matteo got to meet Marc Cohn after a concert he and his band performed in Berkeley, CA. Matteo wrote a letter to Marc and the band about what he experienced listening and watching them play.
Marc was so touched he read Matteo's letter to the audience in the middle of the concert. We made a video about the whole experience here...
As Marc got to know Matteo and his mission, he and his band offered to play a fundraising concert to fund and help spread the mission and Matteo's ideas and thoughts about autism.
Marc Cohn is committed to supporting us! He and his band are so inspired by the work that Matteo and CAST are doing that they have just donated their time and talent to perform a fundraising concert in support of Matteo's mission and the work of Creative Autistic Solutions Team, CAST!!!
The cost involved to produce a concert at this level is substantial. We are seeking corporate and individual sponsors to join us in producing this concert/fundraiser – significantly changing the lives of many autistic individuals. THANK YOU ahead of time! It's time for a celebration!!!
To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Matteo Musso. I am a 15 year old guy with non-verbal autism. I am writing to you by pointing to a letter board while Mom takes dictation.
My mom and I are on a mission to spread knowledge and positive ideals on the topic of autism, and also to shed light on the truth about what’s going on in the minds of non-verbal autistics through our live presentations, YouTube Channel and weekly program, “Monday’s with Matteo,” and 1:1 mentoring with persons and families living with autism.
We have a 501C3 non-profit organization, Creative Autism Solutions Team, that accepts donations of any kind (see our nonprofit at www.matteomusso.com). We currently have an exciting opportunity to raise much needed funds with the ever-talented and big-hearted, Grammy Award winning singer/song-writer, Marc Cohn (“Walking in Memphis”). This is an incredible gift and opportunity for us and we are forever grateful to you and all who can help support our mission!
Already donated:
- Marc Cohn, the band members and crew are donating their time and talent.
- Chankaska Creek Ranch and Winery in Kasota, Minnesota is donating their beautiful event center as the venue.
- Schmitt Music in Minneapolis is donating the rental fee of a 7’ Steinway Grand Piano for Mr. Cohn to play

In just 3 and a half years, Matteo and CAST (Annette and Matteo's 5013c Nonprofit) has done so much in spreading the truth about autism and giving hope to parents, teachers and most importantly hope to people and children with autism who want so badly to be heard. There is truly so much hope!
