Private physio fund for Joanie Sue!

Donation protected

As most of you are aware, Joanie suffered a perinatal stroke shortly after she was born in September 2019 which has left her with cerebral palsy.
She has limited movement and use of her right hand side and weak core strength.
Although she is doing amazingly well (probably thanks to her feisty and sassy nature!); cerebral palsy is a lifelong condition and she will need physio and adaptions throughout her life.
The physio she gets from the NHS is amazing and we are so grateful for it but because of COVID-19 they have only been able to see Joanie once since her diagnosis. She has been having some private physio sessions through MotionRehab as they come to our home in full PPE, but at £75 an hour it’s an expense we never prepared for!

For Joanies first birthday we are asking, that instead of cards and presents, for a small donation towards these physio sessions from our family and friends. They arehelping her so much and me and her Dad will make sure she still has a lovely day .

We aren’t expecting or asking for donations from people who wouldn’t be buying for her and completely understand if people would rather go out ‘pink’ shopping but these sessions are helping her so much and the benefits will last her a lifetime.
