HURRICANE HARVEY AND IRMA RELIEF

All of you have either seen or directly witnessed the devastation and destruction caused by Hurricane Harvey in the Houston area and Hurricane Irma in the Southern Florida area over the past two weeks.  With currently over one million flooded cars, hundreds of thousands of homes destroyed and tens of thousands living in shelters, there is an immediate need for assistance in these areas.  A significant division of our company is based in the Houston area and Southern Florida and we want all of our employees who have been affected by these disasters to know that you and your families are in our thoughts and prayers. 

Next, we are pleased to announce Pritchard Industries wants to help our employees who have been impacted by these terrible storms.

Pritchard Industries has always viewed its loyal and hard-working people not just as employees but as part of a larger family.  The Houston and Southern Florida divisions are each one of the older locations of the Company and we have always been extremely proud of their history and success within the broader Pritchard Industries.  Our roots run deep in these communities and we share in your pain and suffering at this time and want to help you rebuild.

Pritchard Industries has therefore decided to immediately set up the “Pritchard Industries Hurricanes Harvey and Irma Assistance Fund” to provide financial assistance to our Houston and Southern Florida based employees who have suffered damages caused by either Hurricane / Tropical Storm Harvey or Hurricane Irma.  We therefore are asking all of our employees and shareholders to make any donations they feel comfortable with and then Pritchard Industries (the Company) will match those donations but at a minimum contribute enough to achieve a target of $200,000 for the fund.  There will be a committee comprised of local Pritchard Senior and Mid-level management and a neutral outside third party who will decide how best to allocate these funds to affected, qualified and tenured employees after proper documentation has been reviewed, discussed, and approved.

In closing, let me say first to our employees in the Houston and Southern Florida area, you may feel isolated now but know that your Pritchard Family supports you and cares for you during these most difficult of times.  Secondly, thank you in advance to all PII Employees and Shareholders for your most generous donations.  Hopefully, together we can have a significant impact for many of our employees who have suffered from this historic storm.
