Help Bring a Color Printer to Our Special Education Classroom!
Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
My name is Courtnie, and I’m a special education teacher working with an amazing group of students who learn best through visual and hands-on materials. I’m reaching out because we need a color printer for our classroom—and I’d love your help in making that happen.
Why a Color Printer Matters for My Students
In special education, visuals are everything. Colorful charts, behavior supports, visual schedules, communication boards, and learning games make a world of difference for students with learning differences, autism, ADHD, and other needs.
Black-and-white copies just don’t have the same impact. Many of my students rely on color-coded cues to understand their environment, stay organized, and engage with the material. Whether it's a green stoplight for “go” or a red picture to represent “stop,” these visual signals are a key part of how we teach communication, social skills, and academics.
How Your Support Will Help
Your donation will go directly toward purchasing:
A reliable color printer
This will allow me to create personalized, meaningful materials that meet each student where they are. It will also save time and money spent printing outside of school (often out of pocket).
Every Dollar Counts
Even a small donation can make a big difference! And if you’re not able to give, sharing this campaign with others is another powerful way to help.
Thank you for believing in inclusive education and helping my students thrive. They deserve every tool we can give them to succeed, and with your support, we can make that happen—one color page at a time.
With gratitude,
Courtnie Roache
