Princess' Vet & Medical Bills

Hi my name is Brittney, and yesterday marked one of the most difficult chapters in my life. I had to bid farewell to my dearest companion, Princess. She wasn't just a cat; she was the stray who found her way to my door when I was just 12 years old, a tiny ball of fur that would become my best friend and confidante.
Princess had a unique way of following me wherever I went, always three steps behind, a loyal shadow. Despite discovering my allergies to cats, it never deterred our bond. Every night, she'd find her place either on top of my pillow or curled up by my feet, a constant presence that brought comfort like no other.
Her simple joys, like basking in the sun, savoring wet food, and playfully chasing after bits of string, painted the portrait of a content and happy cat. Princess was more than a pet; she was family. Her affectionate nature extended beyond me; she welcomed everyone with open paws, seeking pets from anyone willing to offer them.
Fifteen years. That's how long I was blessed to have her by my side. Today, it feels like a part of me is missing, a void that cannot be easily filled. The pain is overwhelming, making each breath a struggle.
In her final days, Princess battled cancer, losing sight in one eye and facing a myriad of other health issues. The vet bills accumulated, a testament to the lengths we went to try and save her. It was a heart-wrenching journey. For two weeks, she stopped eating and drinking, and Charlie and I had to assist her, feeding her through a syringe. Despite the pain, I'm grateful for those last moments, grateful that we could shower her with all the love and attention she deserved.
As I navigate this grief, I'm reaching out for help to cover the vet and medical bills. Princess may be gone, but her memory lives on in the countless moments of joy, comfort, and love she brought into my life. Rest in peace, my sweet Princess; you will be forever missed.
