Princess Shannon Sloanne Morrison

Our Princess Sha-Sha was a warrior.  Born at only a pound, while her identical twin sister was born at 3.6 pounds. Shannon had many medical issues including pulmonary hypertension.  Since she was a baby she wore a back pack with a central line attached to her ❤️ and lungs for the ability to breathe and a feeding tube to eat.  She continued to grow stronger and a better life free of tubes was nearly on the horizon. No matter the stride, she was always smiling and gave so much love. Unexpectedly, she got an infection from a surgery she had and her little heart couldn’t fight anymore. We may have lost our angel but heaven gained a princess. Her twin sister Shaelynne is broken hearted but knows she has a guardian angel looking over her .

We kindly ask that in lieu of flowers, those that loved her donate to Sha-Sha’s page so that we can facilitate an ADA special-needs playground at her school, Bowling Green in East Meadow and also donate items to the Morgan Stanley’s Children hospital Peds Cardiac ICU, who made her life better for the nine short years we had her. Shannon would want to give back to those who made her life more normal.  She was an angel on earth and she would want to be a guardian angel to the other sick children still fighting.
