Princess Alana

Alana's family is looking for a wheelchair accessible van for her, she is getting bigger now and her chair is to heavy for the family and nurses to lift her in and out of their truck. They honestly cant believe how expensive the vans are even for a used one it's insane. On top of them trying to get a medically necessary van, they are also hopefully soon trying to put a bathroom downstairs for her and one day and a chair lift for the porch, because its dangerous and hard to get Alana up and down or around the back of the house for the family and the nurses. We are trying to just make things easier and safer for her in order to take better care of her. Alana was diagnosed with Dystonia, brain storming and hip dysplasia just recently while fighting for her life in Children's hospital in Pittsburgh. She was already born with cerebral palsy, epilepsy and white matter brain damage. The family are in tears and overwhelmed at times cause of all the new issues that she keeps developing. It seems just not fair to put such a beautiful little print through so much pain and suffering, one can only imagine how she feels. It kills the famy while watching her be in pain and sometimes unable not knowing how to respond to her. They wander when is her next ambulance ride or life flight will take place. The family wishes for her to be able to go outside and have adventures while she is able to in between hospital stays.
