Priceless Experience

Each year, West Wilkes Middle School takes a trip to Washington DC. The trip includes: hotels, food cost, transportation, and most importantly an educational experience of a lifetime.  As amazing as this trip can be, it has a downside, it's expensive.  The cost of the trip is $430 per person.  In order to book this trip funding is needed by January 1st, 2018.

I currently teach a class with students who face varying challenges.  Many of my students also come from low income families and rarely leave their hometown for any reason. My goal, with your help, is to provide an educational opportunity for my four 8th graders with an amazing life/educational experience.  Additionally, this trip provides an opportunity to learn valuable socialization skills.


My students and I will be forever grateful for any contribution you can make. Some of them may not have another opportunity like this again.
