<div>Hi, my name is Vashna Gounder, and with my team, we are fundraising to run high school and community presentations on general health topics that all people should know. A lot of habits built in youth carry into adulthood, and often illnesses and health problems that arise could have been prevented if awareness and steps were taken early on. People deserve to know about their bodies and health to advocate for their health concerns and get the answers they need. After experiencing that healthcare professionals sometimes don't have the time to discuss your health in depth or to be taken seriously, I was inspired to provide direction to resources and empower others. The funds will be used to expand our organization and establish it as a proper non-profit (application fees) so that we can help many more communities. Health is not something to be taken lightly, and for years, women's health has been under-researched and overlooked. Join us in supporting health education for all.
