Prevencion a la Ceguera

My name is Ignacio Fuentes and I was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Currently I am a Senior at Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami, Florida. I did an internship in December, 2017 with Fundacion Merand in Caracas where I worked in the  Blindness Prevention Program. The Program  strives to help out impoverished Venezuelans with Cataracts and Eye Web who cannot afford their respective corrective surgeries and otherwise are destined to blindness. It also contemplates corneal transplantation for children born with corneal edema and victims of violence who's eyesight may have been damaged, thanks to the joint work of Vision Share https://vision share.org and Centro Médico Docente La Trinidad https://CMDLT.edu.ve. Through this campaign  We aim to be able to raise at least $5,200 for to help these Venezuelans avoid blindness.
