Feb 19,2018 Octavius ( Tay) bacon has passed away... he has been sick for the pass 2 1/2 years.
In 2016 he was diagnosed with a rare auto immune disease called HLH in which his own immune system attacked itself ...He went thu chemo until we got to the point where he needed a bone marrow transplant to wiped out his immune system and give him a brand new one. In which I (his sister) was the only match (half of a match to be exact)..October 19 is the day that I donated my stem cells for him and on October 20 he receive the cells and a second chance of life.... Everything went well with the transplant regular doc appt we went to,tryin to get back to everyday life..The cells was perfect (as the doctors say).and was growing nicely.January 15 which was post to be a reg doc appt he got admitted into the hospital and since then it’s been a roller coaster... he was definitely fighting from day to day. The doctors finally found out that he had development pneumonia in his lungs.Which cause fluid around the lungs as well as around the heart and as the days went on he became sicker n sicker eventually goin up into the Icu having to have the ventilator breathing for him...Doctors did and tried everything that they could have done to save my brother,but his body was to weak and he was tired... Feb 19 he took his last breath with some of his family right by his bed side,he went peacefully surrounded by nothing but love... He leaves behind his 15 yr old daughter his mom n little big sister and a whole bunch of friends,Nieces and nephews in which they referred to him as Tay daddy... I am here respectfully and humbly asking for help to give my brother a nice home goin...be to the fact he had no life insurance.We the family greatly appreciate any little contribution you may gave to help us in sending him off..
