Dear Family and Friends,
You’ve seen me grow through childhood to adolescence – now I’m almost at the end of my college experience, soon to begin the career to which the Lord has called me. I have always known that I have a support group like none other and I thank you and love you for being a part of that.
In the pursuit of my dual degree in Ministerial Theology and Broadcast Journalism I have been successful academically and in my extracurricular activities. I’ve been a member of the AYM Team my Junior year as Prayer Coordinator and currently serve as Religion and Theology Forum President. As a freshman, I was one of a few chosen to be an Aeolian, following in my parents’ footsteps. It has been a thorough blessing, and has given me the opportunity to travel all over America as well as various parts of the world including Jamaica, Budapest, the Bahamas and England. During my Aeolian tenure I led the choir as Chaplain, grounding us spiritually as we competed for the Choir of the World title. God led all the way, and it was truly exciting when we, the Aeolians of Oakwood University, were voted the 2017 Choir of the World in Wales.
As I start my final year I have one more world-traveling adventure on which I would like to embark – to continue my Theology studies in Jerusalem, Israel to study Hebrew for six weeks. The dates are June 26 - August 2, 2018. This will be a tremendous opportunity in preparation for my future career, enhancing my academics and personal growth. Adventist Colleges Abroad is in charge of the program, and the total package involves round-trip airfare, books, tuition, room/board, and spending money while in Israel. The total figure is $5,500. It is with love and prayer that I ask you to support me with this trip, and I thank you in advance.
