Presley's Parvo Plight
Donation protected
12 hours after being adopted, little Presley was rushed to the ER with symptoms of Parvo. After confirmation, "little bit" was admitted and is now fighting an uphill battle.
At only 7 weeks old, she doesn't have the developed immune system that older dogs have, so this is going to be a struggle. She's being given IV fluids, antibiotics, anti-nausea medicine, electrolytes and glucose.
She is refusing to eat so will need a nasal feeding tube to get her belly full again and stimulate her will to eat.
This will be an expensive and long battle, but we're all in. Because we just don't know what to expect, I'm requesting $2,000 (as we are at $1183 now). Anything raised that goes above the vet bills will be donated to Richland Animal Rescue (as most of you know, this is where I volunteer and foster cats/kittens)
A donation can be made directly to the VCA Southwest Michigan Animal Emergency and Referral Center at 104 W Cork St, Kalamazoo, MI 49001 if you do not feel comfortable utilizing an online platform.
