Who we are:

We are a group of nature loving, hikers, trail runners, hunters, bikers, and local property owners trying to save Hawn’s Peninsula from turning into a marina and campground.


Our mission:

To convince the Army Corps of Engineers not to add the possibility of development of the peninsula back onto the Master Plan, which is currently being redone by the Corps.
To preserve the natural state of the peninsula as it is currently.
To preserve the natural habitats of birds, bears, bats and others species.
To preserve the trails and surrounding woods currently open to the public to remain untouched.
To preserve the hunting access on Hawn’s Bridge Road for disabled hunters including disabled veterans.
To stop the addition of additional boat traffic on an already over-crowded lake.
To preserve the natural habitat and beauty of the area.
