Honoring Our Beloved Mother: Help Us Keep Her Legacy Alive

With shattered hearts, we share the devastating loss of our beloved mother. She was not just our mom—she was the heart and soul of our family, the glue that held everything together. She loved deeply, cared selflessly, and always put others before herself.

Our mother had a profound love for people and animals, often taking in strays and giving them a home. She was the devoted wife of a Marine Corps veteran, a woman of strength, compassion, and unwavering love. She was also a doting Gammy to her six grandchildren, showering them with affection, wisdom, and the kind of unconditional love that only a Gammy can give.

She fought bravely for months against congestive heart failure and kidney failure. In the end, we were able to fulfill her final wish—to bring her home on hospice, where she passed peacefully, surrounded by family, love, and warmth.

She was our matriarch, the one who cared for everyone, and the one who always found a way to help others—no matter how little she had. Even when it was the last dollar in her account, she donated to charities close to her heart. She had an incredible ability to see those in need and act—whether it was helping the homeless, feeding the hungry, or supporting causes she believed in. She gave without hesitation, because that’s just who she was.

Now, in the wake of her passing, we are not only mourning the unimaginable loss of her presence, but we are also facing overwhelming financial burdens. She was the backbone of our home, managing the household and carrying the weight of the finances. The funds raised will go toward covering funeral expenses, outstanding medical bills, and most importantly, mortgage protection so that we don’t lose the home she worked so hard to provide. Losing her has been heartbreaking, but losing our home on top of it would be unbearable.
