Prescott Circus New Van Fund...for our performers

Prescott Circus Theatre's 1999 GMC Savanah van was stolen on Monday, July 11, during our rehearsal for our summer shows!

We rely upon our van for our children to participate in programs and perform at community events throughout the year.

With the upcoming school year, we need a way for our young stars to attend and perform community events, get to and from programs, and to transport our equipment to our partnering public school sites. Can you help?

Since 1999, our van has made it possible for our students to inspire thousands of children and adults throughout Oakland and the entire Bay Area. Performing in the community offers our children opportunities to contribute to the cultural fabric of our town!

About Prescott Circus Theatre:
Prescott Circus Theatre provides safe environments with caring adults that challenge youth, through circus arts training, to live the core principles of hard work, teamwork, perseverance, and belief in self. For more than 30 years, we have delivered against our mission to empower and engage youth to develop the confidence and skills to thrive on stage, in school, and in life. This is accomplished through year-round, no-cost, school and community based programs in partnership with professional artists, Oakland public schools, and other local agencies and organizations. PCT prioritizes partnerships with public schools where 60% or more of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Over 90% of our students are children of color. This year, Prescott Circus is working with over 200 children in partnership with eight Oakland public schools.
