Prenatal care for newcomer mom and baby

Hello lovely Kelowna birth community!
We recently took a client into care who is newly arrived to Canada. She is originally from Cote d'Ivoire and is currently in Canada on a student visa. This means that she does not have medical insurance and has to pay for all of her prenatal testing, ultrasounds and hospital visits out of pocket. As you can imagine, this can add up quickly!
She is also here alone without any support people nearby.
This client's baby is measuring small, and we have been doing follow up testing to make sure that this baby is healthy. Unfortunately, this has already cost a lot for our client and she cannot afford the 400$ ultrasound that she needs at this time. If there are any issues with the baby's health requiring an induction of labour or further testing this amount will be far beyond what this client can afford.
We believe that every pregnant person should have all the prenatal care they need to have a healthy pregnancy and birth, and we are reaching out to all of you to see if we can help this client. We know how much you love your babies and would do anything to help them; imagine being in this client's position where this becomes impossible.
