Praying for Shannan Gilbert
Shannan Gilbert went missing on May 1, 2010 from Oak Beach, LI. On the night of her disappearance, she made a 23 minute long 911 call that her estate lawyer, John Ray was finally able to obtain through court order.
It’s clear through public records that Shannan frantically called 911 at 4:53am. She was on the call for 23min while running through the small community of Oak Beach, banging on doors and pleading for help. According to several eye witnesses, she was distressed and frightened. There may be more voices on the call— other than herself, her driver, Michael Pak and Joseph Brewer (the client she saw that night). Because of the background noise, it’s hard to understand clearly WHO is speaking & WHAT was said. We need to try to ID all the voices. Shannan did say THEY are going to kill me which we know from other sources. We need to find out who “they” are.
We hope to one day be able to release Shannan’s 911 call to the public. In the meantime, we must try to analyze, evaluate & decipher the tapes for accuracy and any new information. John Ray has been able to find a firm in New Jersey willing to do the voice analysis, however, it’s going to cost $1800-$2000. In this long crusade of pursuing justice, we have been very weary of asking the public for anything. We understand the current climate of our society so if you could donate any amount (big or small) and/or share this campaign, we would greatly appreciate it. Shannan made the brave call that fateful spring day & we believe her 911 call holds the clues to the ones responsible for her death. Help us get her her long awaited justice!
