Praying for Jinny

Donation protected
As many of you know, Jinny Adams is critically ill.  What began as a simple cold turned to bronchitis, then pneumonia, and she has now developed ARDS.  She has been hospitalized for weeks and is now intubated and medically paralyzed as they try to get ahead of her deteriorating condition.   The latest plan involves moving her when she is stable enough from St Anthony’s to Baptist Integris so that the ECMO team there can take over her treatment. She was moved on Sunday to Integris Baptist ICU room 701.

Those that know Jinny (aka “Hinny”) know that she is the sweetest person and most genuine friend many of us have ever known.  She would give you the shirt off her back, her last dollar, or do absolutely anything for those she cares about and even a stranger without batting an eye or thinking twice about it.

She is a proud mother and grandmother, a devoted daughter and sister, a reliable employee and coworker, a loving lifelong partner to Jeff, and a fierce and irreplaceable friend to so many.  Everywhere she goes, she adds to her huge collection of friends and people who adore her.   She’s an unwaveringly fan of her Dallas Cowboys and will set anyone straight real quick that is a fair-weather fan or talks any smack on her boys.

We are all reeling from the situation so hopefully this will help lessen the financial burden weighing heavily on Jeff at a time when he’s personally struggling seeing her this way.

Jinny’s favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 31:25, “she is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future”.  Another fund-raiser is being organized locally to sell tee-shirts with this verse on it to help with Jinny’s expenses.  Additionally, a Facebook page “Praying for Jinny” has a been created to communicate the latest information on her condition.

If you feel so inclined to donate, anything would be greatly appreciated.  Please share...Jinny has touched so many and now we have an opportunity to do something for her when’s she needs it most.  Prayers are especially appreciated at this time as well.  We are fully believing that Jinny will wake up and eventually see all those that she has touched rallying together during her time of need.
