Praying for Brandon

Sadly, Brandon was diagnosed with Lung Cancer November of this year. On Friday, December 1st, Brandon had surgery to remove 1/3 of his right lung to remove the cancer at Baylor Hosptial in Dallas. The surgeons ended up having to remove part of his diaphragm as well, as the cancer had spread. The cancer was worse than the Drs. thought and we found out that Brandon would need Chemo. Brandon was a trooper though and after almost a WEEK in the hospital he got to go home. He was recovering at home when he started having trouble breathing and was rushed to the Denton hospital. We are so thankful that Brett was able to get him there quickly because we later learned  that he wouldnt have made it much longer!!! It was discovered that he has pneumonia in both lungs and some sort of infection. His body was not creating enough oxygen on its own and his blood carbon dioxide levels were too high. The hospital put Brandon in an induced coma to keep his body still and relaxed. He was then put on a breathing ventilator to help increase breathing and oxygen.  After four days with little improvement the surgeons from Baylor requested Brandon be care flighted back to Baylor. Last night, Dec. 12th, Brandon was flown via helicopter back to Baylor. Today, Dec. 13th, the Dr.s are running a scope down Brandon's tubes to see if they can come up with any new information as well as taking cultures. Brandon is still in an induced coma until the hospital can get him breathing better on his own. The thing we need and are asking for the most right now is PRAYERS!!! Our God is good and he can heal Brandon. However, Brandon's parents have both taken off work and stayed with Brandon this entire time. Brandon's dad is about to be out of vacation days...so money will be tight already. His parent's hotel bills are piling up as well as food, gas and other needs while in Dallas. Soon, Brandon's apartment rent and other bills will be due and ofcourse Brandon has not been working for the entire month of December. On top of that, surgery bills, anethesia bills, HELICOPTER bill, ECT... will be rediculously high. Brandon's family have NOT asked me to create this and probally wont be happy about it, but no one plans for this type of event and any financial help as well as prayers will be greatly appreciated!!! Ya'll $5-$10 adds up!!!! PLease give if you can!! & if you can't...PRAY! for Brandon, his family & his friends!

UPDATE: Brandon is now on ECMO. Which basically means that machines are working his lungs, heart and blood exchange for him. He is still sedated and the pneumonia in both lungs has worsened . PRAYING FOR A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!!!
