Support Susan's battle with cancer

I ask for your help and support for my dear friend Jessica whose mother is battling Stage III Multiple Myeloma and her father has who was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. Over the years I have had the privilege of being a part of this families life and have witnessed their strength and compassion for others which has been inspiring.

Jessica's father was diagnosed with Fascioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy or FSHD at a very young age. FSHD is a progressive genetic muscle wasting disease. The disease has caused multiple hospitalizations and a tracheostomy attached to a ventilator to help him breath. Even with the multiple hospitalizations, illnesses, and procedures that accompany FSHD The Taylor family has remained strong. Susan, Jessica's mother, was blindsided by the devastating news that she has Multiple Myeloma. Susan is now undergoing weekly Chemotherapy in Goshen. Along with weekly drives to Goshen, Susan struggles with uncontrolled pain that can accompany this devastating diagnoses. Susan is awaiting a Stem Cell Transplant, where she will have to travel and remain in Indianapolis Hospital and undergo intense chemotherapy. This process will take up to 4 weeks and then Susan will remain off work for up to 6 months.

The Taylor family will be facing the most difficult fight of their lives. With the multiple hospitalizations, upcoming intense chemotherapy and stem cell transplant and copious amounts of medical bills coupled with Susan's inability to work during her upcoming procedures, any amount you are able to donate will help the Taylor family and allow Susan some well deserved peace during her recovery.
