Pray for Shay and Give if You Can

Shala Fuksa was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer called Glioblastoma in December 2019. She had her first brain surgery at that time to remove the cancer and began treatment in February. After 33 rounds of chemo and radiation it was determined the treatment was not effective for her type of cancer and the tumors had grown exponentially. MD Anderson accepted her into their trial treatment and has been undergoing clinical trials since March/April. Her second brain surgery had been scheduled but then cancelled due to Covid-19. After starting the trials her tumor has not grown which was great and promising news that the treatment was working. However, a cyst has continued to grow and push against her brain causing her pain and interfering with treatment so they have decided to reschedule her 2nd brain surgery for July 15. I want to bless this family of 5 with less financial burdens during this time of treatment, surgery, and frequent traveling for treatments. They live in Midland and every 21 days have to travel almost 8 hours to get to MD Anderson in Houston for treatment. As you can imagine, the cost of traveling and treatment is significant. Let’s lessen that burden on her and her family. Please prayerfully consider giving any amount you feel led to give. Every little bit counts and God can multiply even the smallest amount.
