This page is to help support Jay Vandiver and his family. Jay is battling his third round of cancer, this will be the hardest fight that Jay will have had yet. This page will help support Jay and his family financially and give them peace of mind so they can focus on Jay and seeing God perform a miracle in his life. Having gone through cancer twice before they know the out-of-pocket expenses can be drastic. Items not covered by insurance can cost thousands of dollars per month.
Jay's Story
Jay turned 21 last November. In June of 2004, when Jay was 11 he was diagnosed with Leukemia ALL. Jay fought that battle and won. In 2006 Jay went against a second round with Leukemia, this time it was in the Spinal fluid around the brain, after a hard fight Jay managed to come back in full swing. In December 2013, Jay is up against his 3rd battle, this time the form of Cancer has come in two brain tumors and 1 mass. This form of Cancer is called "Glioblastoma". After two different opinions from Cancer Specialists, Jay's prognosis from both sets of Doctor's is 1 year of life left. This may be the prognosis of the physicians but we know that God has a greater plan and purpose for Jay's life. On Monday 02/03/14 Jay will start Chemo and Radiation which will go on for 6 weeks. Please keep Jay and his family in your prayers and continue to lift them up. Jay and his parents want to thank everyone for all the support that has been shown with all the prayers and so much love.
Jay is an awesome person, with a love for the outdoors, shooting, and riding motorcycles. Let's all stand together and keep Jay and his family in our prayers as he fights to beat this cancer like he did before!
