Dear friends and family my name is Jillian Salamy and I am a close friend of Amy and Daniel. I started this GoFundMe to help while Daniel is fighting to make a strong recovery and Amy is by his side. All funds will go directly to Amy and Daniel for whatever they may need during this hard time.

For those of you that do not know what happened please read below...

As many of you know, or are now learning, On August 4, Daniel was on his way to Sturgis when he was involved in a severe motorcycle accident. The accident occurred in Wyoming where he was air lifted to a hospital in Salt Lake City. Daniel has a frontal sinus fracture, a nasal fracture, minor bleeding and swelling in the brain and a Carotid artery partial tear. The doctors and nurses are continuing to monitor the pressure and swelling of his brain. He has a bruised lung, so he is currently intubated to help him breath. The physical therapist was able to move his body and Daniel was able to open his eyes. Daniel is so strong, and the scans are already showing improvements. Daniels wife, Amy has flown out to Utah to be by his side during this time and will be there until it is time to come home. We are resolved in our faith that Daniel will make a full recovery with a possible surgery, lots of Physical therapy, rest and strength. Regardless, we know Daniel is a fighter, and above all else a loyal friend and family member. As of right now we do not know how long he will be in the hospital, so we are trying to make things as comfortable as possible for not only Daniel but his family too.Truthfully, D-Boy would be pissed that we are soliciting donations on his behalf, but we want to help our dear friend and his family out.
