Prayers & Help For The Douets

As co-workers of Jasalyn Mosbey-Douet, we are starting this page to help our loving friend with the hardships she and her husband Jared Douet have endured this year. This was starting out to be the first year of their new married life together and with the purchase of their first home together this was beginning to be an even happier year for them.
Unfortunately, they found out in July that their home had deteriorating exterior siding which let water into the walls and their home had black mold on the inside. In August Hurricane Harvey hit causing the exterior of their home to deteriorate further and the cost of repairs to increase.
They had to move out and in with parents. This meant their 3 dogs had to be boarded. During the boarding of their babies, two had medical procedures and one almost died due to poor post op care and had to have emergency surgery that was over $5,000.
We are happy to say that Jewel, their pup is recovering from surgery and the family has recently moved into a rent home so that they are able to bring their babies home. This is in addition to still being in the process of bringing their home back to being livable which you can imagine is very costly.
Their hardships have been great, but if you know them, they are both still smiling through all of this. We would like to see if we can lessen their hardship with funding. Please take a moment and say a prayer for them and also find it in your heart to give.
