Medical Bills and Expenses

Nadia is a 4 yr old girl that has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Pleuropulmonary Blastoma. The Drs. at Riley Childrens Hospital in Indianapolis are working closely with International Drs. to come up with her treatment plan as this is so rare in the U.S. She has a tumor that covers her whole left lung. It presses against her windpipe and her heart. She is getting chemo treatments to try and shrink the tumor and at this point they have given her 50% chance of survival. Her mother Jill has been with Nadia at the hospital since mid April and they don't believe they will be leaving anytime soon. They have been told this will be an extremely slow process. She has been in critical care for weeks now. Her Papa has been there when he can but it's more important for the family to keep him working as they so desperately need his income to cover costs. They are 3 hours from home. The family was also notified that insurance was not going to cover the total cost of their hospital stay. As you can imagine this will add up very fast and can be devastating for this family. Our biggest challenge is trying to figure out a way Nadia's father can spend time with her in Indianapolis without losing his income. He has been able to stay on 2 occasions now to be with his wife and daughter and missed days of working in the process. We are hoping to help this family pay for medical expenses.
