Prayers & Help-Izaiah and August

A regular ultrasound appointment turned into an unexpected delivery! Twin babies, August and Izaiah Sievers, were born prematurely at 24 weeks of gestation on 8-22-2018 via EMERGENCY C-section. They were immediately transported to the Newborn Intensive Care Unit in Champaign Illinois. Since their expected due date wasn't until December 9th, one twin, named August, only weighed 2.1lbs and the other twin boy, named Izaiah, weighted a mere 1lb. 11 ounces! Its a constant rollercoaster for these little guys right now. Both twins have brain bleeds that are being monitored very closely. They are still considered to be in critical condition even though the Carle staff has done a great job at keeping them stable.

The costs will be adding up for the parents of these twins, having to make trips back and forth, etc. They live around 2 1/2 hours from the Carle Hospital and also have a 13 month year old boy named Major.
We want to show our financial support for this lovely family Matt, Megan, Major and the twins.
