Prayers for Janet
Janet Thibault, a mother of two, grandmother of 2.5, sister to 10, and friend to so many is facing the fight of her life.
In May of 2020, Janet went to the emergency room for a week long headache that had become intolerable. It was there that the doctors found three masses on her brain. She was transferred to Midland to begin further testing by neurologists.
After many scans, tests, and doctor reviews, Janet was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic breast cancer. Her cancer is so advanced that it has spread to her brain, spine, lymphnodes, lungs, and bones.
Although there is no cure for her cancer, Janet is determined to find a way to take her five year outlook and turn it into 20. She has already undergone her first of three gamma knife radiation treatments, she has started her hormone therapy, and is diligent about her all natural care as well.
Even with her determination, Janet cannot fight this alone. She needs all of us to support and lift her up in healing prayers, thoughts, and love. Janet is three months away from qualifying for Medicare, but currently has no insurance.
In addition to fighting this beast, Janet is also concerned for her financial wellbeing as she finds a way to pay for all of these medical bills. No one should have to worry about their health and being able to afford their life saving treatment. Just a single gamma knife treatment costs $52,000, and she needs three. Her cancer medication is very costly as well and she will have to cover that until she is eligible for Medicare.
Janet is a strong, prideful woman, and doesn’t like to ask for help, so as her daughter, I am asking for help for her. Please help me lessen my mom’s worry while she fights for her life.
