*Help Gabe Beat Leukemia *

Donation protected

On Aug 10, 2017 Gabe and his mother checked into the walk-in clinic because Gabe wasn't feeling well. He had complained of chest pain, weakness, and fatigue for 5 weeks, and two past trips to the doctor did not resolve anything. As they walked in expecting a diagnosed of Mono, they left rushing to the hospital. Gabe was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). His platelet counts were dangerously low and white blood cells were dangerously high. They ordered an emergency blood transfusion within an hour. Within the first 24 hours Gabe endured 2 blood transfusions, a spinal tap, bone marrow biopsy and his first treatment of chemo. This was just the beginning. Gabe spent a week in the hospital with more treatments and transfusions. He took well enough to the treatments the doctors agreed to send him home and continue with outpatient care. All this in just the first week of being diagnosed, and unfortunately he is looking ahead to years of treatments and clinic visits. It is crazy to think that just days before he was diagnosed with Leukemia, Gabe was registering at West Fargo High for senior classes, and debating where to go for senior pictures. Gabe does have insurance but it does not cover alot of the costs of the treatments and medications. We set up this account to ask for help in supporting Gabe and his family with these extreme expenses they are facing. If you aren't able to donate, please help by sharing this page and spreading the word and please continue to pray for Gabes full recovery. Thank you and God Bless.
