What would you do if the person you love who is always there for everyone else now needs you to be there for him. What would you do if your father, your brother, your son, your uncle, or your best friend needed your help. Would he be able to depend on you?
Please help us help Deonta and his children.
Deonta was in a horrific car accident caused by a man who drove through the red light and crashed into the passenger side of the car where Deonta was sitting. In order to save Deonta's life the rescue squad had to use the Jaws of Life to cut open the car and remove Deonta so they could immediately rush him into emergency surgery. Deonta endured two major brain surgeries on both sides of his brain as well as surgeries to correct his punctured lungs. Throughout this process Deonta has remained in a coma on a ventilator in intensive care. He's a strong 34 year old man with a long road of recovery ahead of him and his family. We are praying for him to regain consciousness and to eventually move to a long term care facility for therapy where he will start the process of returning to a normal life.
