Prayers for Charlie

It's hard to sit here and describe a man that everyone loves. Devoted husband and amazing father of two children, Charlie is the happiest guy in the room at all times. His love for God is powerful and the center of his family. He leads by example, is the friend we all wish we were and the kind of guy that would drop anything to lend a helping hand.  He's painfully funny and laughing continuously, all while being the guy you go to for a serious talk. Words of wisdom. A helping hand. A prayer. 
    In November of 2016, Charlie was diagnosed with stage four esophageal cancer that had metastasized to his liver and lymph nodes. Even as this news was revealed, Charlie and Kerri kept positive, knowing that God would lead them. Never a bad thought or negative fear took over their hearts as Charlie started 13 rounds of chemo. He has come so far and they are positive that they are close to the end and he will be healed. 
    Charlie is entering his second round of chemo and the fight is getting more challenging. As his friends and family, we want nothing more than to lessen the load of financial hardship so that he can focus on his recovery. As everyone asks, "what can we do to help?", we felt it was time to start a go fund me page so everyone could donate. No family should have the stress of medical bills on their mind while they are fighting a battle like this. 
    Finally, we ask that with every donation, you say a prayer and have positive thoughts for Charlie. God is good and will guide them and they have always expressed that. Now it's our turn to join them and help any way we can. For the Kubasky's, your prayers are more important than a donation.
