Prayers for baby Kaiden

Family & Friends: On Tuesday night, Kaiden had been sick and fevering, and unable to break the fever. He started to rapidly decline and had stopped breathing. 911 was called. Kaidens oxygen levels were low and he was actively having a continuous seizure. He was rushed to riverside university health center where he was given Ativan to stop the seizures, was then intubated and placed on a ventilator. He was requiring a high amount of oxygen on the ventilator and also blood pressure medication to keep his blood pressure up. Lots of testing had been done, and it was found that Kaiden was very sick with 3 different viral infections: RSV, Human metpheumovirus and corona virus co 43. Last night (1/5) he started having seizures again. At this point, Doctors decided to transfer him to higher level of care- Loma Linda. He’s on continuous EEG monitoring again to monitor the seizure frequency. Going to MRI soon to check for infection, brain swelling, or bleeding. He’s now septic; has a blood infection, and pneumonia. They are determining if he also had strep. He’s on 3 different antibiotics for those things. He isn’t making any urine and his kidneys aren’t working. They gave him Lasix, hoping he will, but If he doesn’t make urine soon, they will have to put him on dialysis— some positive news for him- They decreased his oxygen level on the vent from 70-40%, and he is no longer needing the blood pressure medication. Even small victories need to be celebrated. Please keep this sweet baby in your prayers, and pray for strength for mommy & daddy. They are scared and just want their baby to come home. These parents are going through it right now, watching their baby boy fight a bad systemic infection. Please be patient if you haven’t heard any updates from them. Continue Praying for a miracle.
Due to Kaiden's critical condition, mommy & daddy aren’t working, so they can continue to be by his side. They have enough to worry about right now, without thinking about an accumulation of debt during these hard times. Please give if you can to this family in need. Anything is surely appreciated. Keep fighting Kaiden!
