After Trinity’s heart surgery, we are incredibly grateful to say she made it through successfully. But as our family takes a breath from that battle, we now find ourselves facing another challenge.

I recently met with a knee surgeon to explore options for my worsening knee condition. Due to severe post-traumatic arthritis that has significantly degraded the joint over the last nine years post a motorcycle accident, he advised that a full knee replacement is now the best — and necessary — path forward to regain mobility and quality of life.

The first step in this process was the removal of the existing hardware from my knee. As of February 13, 2026, that surgery has been completed. I’m now entering the recovery phase before moving ahead with the knee replacement, which we expect to happen around mid-May.

At the moment, I’m doing everything I can to continue working and keep our little family of six moving forward. However, we know there will be difficult days ahead — physically, emotionally, and financially.

Through it all, we trust that the Lord will carry us, just as He always has.
