<div>On January 30th, our family said goodbye to my grandpa. We were still grieving his passing when tragedy struck again in a way we never could have imagined.

<div>My grandma had just returned to the United States with my dad so she could be surrounded by family during this difficult time. They had even begun making plans for her to move back to San Diego to be close to us.

<div>But unexpectedly, my grandma was involved in a car accident on February 11 and passed away.
</div>

<div>In a matter of days, my dad — an only child — has now lost both of his parents. The weight of this loss is unimaginable. We ask for your prayers for my dad and for our entire family as we walk through this season.
</div>

<div>My grandma was deeply loved, and she loved us so well. She always made the effort to show up for our milestones — birthdays, graduations, important moments — no matter the distance. Her presence was steady, warm, and full of care. While our hearts are broken, we hold onto the hope we have in Jesus. We believe that my grandma and grandpa are now resting in Him and that one day we will see them again when He returns. That promise is what carries us through the darkest moments.

<div>We are asking first and foremost for your prayers — for strength, peace, and comfort for my dad and our family. <div>Mi abuela acababa de regresar a los Estados Unidos con mi papá para poder estar rodeada de su familia durante este tiempo tan difícil. Incluso ya habían comenzado a hacer planes para que ella se mudara nuevamente a San Diego y así estar más cerca de nosotros.

<div>Pero inesperadamente, el 11 de febrero, mi abuela sufrió un accidente automovilístico y falleció.

<div>En cuestión de días, mi papá — siendo hijo único — ha perdido a ambos padres. El peso de esta pérdida es inimaginable. Les pedimos sus oraciones por mi papá y por toda nuestra familia mientras atravesamos esta temporada de profundo dolor.

<div>Mi abuela era profundamente amada, y ella nos amó de una manera tan especial. Siempre hacía el esfuerzo de estar presente en nuestros momentos importantes — cumpleaños, graduaciones y celebraciones — sin importar la distancia. Su presencia era constante, cálida y llena de cariño. Aunque nuestros corazones están destrozados, nos aferramos a la esperanza que tenemos en Jesús. Creemos que mi abuela y mi abuelo ahora descansan en Él, y que un día los volveremos a ver cuando Él regrese. Esa promesa es la que nos sostiene en los momentos más oscuros.
