Hi, I’m Kaylee, Nick’s fiancé, aka (RedBeard).

He has been in the ICU for 9 days. He was put on a ventilator 6 days ago. He’s been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome from a tick bite. He is temporarily paralyzed. He will be getting put on a trachea for a while. He will never be 100% again; he will still have flare-ups at any time for the rest of his life. The doctors are unable to give a timeline for how long his recovery will take. He will have to go stay at a Long Term Acute Care Rehab Facility to learn to walk and gain his strength back.

As many know, medical bills can be very expensive, especially under these circumstances. If anyone is able to donate anything to help out with medical bills and finances, we will have to find a new place to live as well that’s one story. We have a 14-month-old baby boy and a 3-year-old dog at home as well. If you can’t donate, that’s okay; just send us all the prayers possible. Thank you, everyone!
